Today I’m thankful for good music. Music has always been such a major part of my life. When I was little and just starting the play the piano, I dreamt of being a concert pianist at Carnegie Hall. As I got older, I got a little more familiar with reality and knew the chances of that were very slim. And by then, my desire was more to lead worship.
So, I want to tell you about a couple of good albums today.
The first is Dave Barnes’ Christmas Album, Very Merry Christmas (iTunes and Amazon). I think I posted about it last year, but it’s so good, it’s worth posting about again. I started listening to it yesterday. It’s really the first Christmas music I’ve wanted to listen to so far this year, and it’s starting to get me a little into of the holiday mood.
The second one I want to tell you about is FREE!!! Tyrone Wells is an amazing artist. I think I found him through a link on a photographer’s blog a couple of years ago, but we have loved him every since! He just came out with a new album, Metal & Wood. It is sooooo good! You can find it here at NoiseTrade. And, you’re welcome! (Enjoy!)
